In the first session, we discuss all the topics you wish to explore through therapy as well as any questions you may have about the process. It is extremely important to me that you choose the right therapist.
If I feel a different type of therapist is better suited to your needs I will be transparent about this and refer you to them accordingly.
What is the aim of therapy?
Therapy is a creative process and like any other creative process it requires consistency and patience. Therapy is not a linear process. There are ups and downs. Developments and regressions.
Therapy is not about happiness but it is about contentment and fulfilment by making space for difficult and unwanted feelings. Therapy does not aim to file advice or tell people what to do.
